The Scientific Advisory Board.

What defines us.
Research in the service of excellence.

Expertise.

In order to enrich its strategic approach and strengthen its position in legal scholarship, Bruzzo Dubucq decided in 2023 to set up a Scientific Advisory Board. This initiative marks an important step in consolidating its expertise and its ability to meet the varied and complex demands of its activities.

The Scientific Advisory Board is made up of professionals from a range of intellectual, academic and practical backgrounds. It includes academics who bring in-depth theoretical knowledge and a spirit of scientific rigour, dynamic and innovative young researchers, practitioners with hands-on experience and qualified figures who bring valuable and varied expertise. Each of the firm's practice areas is represented, ensuring comprehensive coverage and fair representation within the Board.

Operational excellence.

One of the most important aspects of the Board's work is its contribution to the in-house training of the firm's members. It ensures that the knowledge and skills of all members are constantly updated and strengthened, guaranteeing a high level of performance. It also organises academic events on topical issues or fundamental themes, providing opportunities for in-depth discussion and collective reflection on relevant subjects.

Finally, the Scientific Advisory Board is not merely a consultative body: it also plays an active role in the firm's operational activities. It assists the firm's various practice groups in their advisory and litigation work, offering academic insights that can inform decision-making and contributing to innovative and well-founded solutions.

The creation of this Scientific Advisory Board by Bruzzo Dubucq in 2023 demonstrates a strong commitment to a research-based approach and to excellence in the conduct of the firm's activities.

Legal scholarship.

The role of the Scientific Advisory Board is crucial, as it is responsible for determining the firm's doctrinal strategy. It is responsible for the direction, principles and values that guide the firm's work. This mission involves careful analysis and an in-depth understanding of current and future legal, economic and social dynamics.

The Board takes up any question of academic interest relating to the firm's activity. In doing so, it plays an active role in identifying, examining and exploring issues relevant to the firm's work. It also supports publications by members of the firm by overseeing the development of an annual editorial plan, which helps to promote the firm's work and share its ideas with a wider audience.
